We are currently seeking a senior engineer with ironclad coding skills and proven leadership chops to work closely with management, client and a small, self-directed engineering team. You’ll need to be:

• Working from a time zone with significant overlap to the client’s CET working hours
• Well along in your career, with 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining web-based applications using modern technologies.
• Possessing of an entrepreneurial mindset, as this is a fluid role between Engineering and Management. You’ll be working closely with both client and Clearview management and be the project’s key tech decision-maker.
• Ready to exert a high level of independence in making choices and creating initiatives.
• Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written (however: we don’t mind which version of the English language it is)
• Experienced in managing a small, self-directed team of developers.

What we expect of you:

• You’ll write lots of JavaScript code, incorporating best practices, design patterns and frameworks that will last for years to come.
• You have strong experience and understand the ins and outs of Javascript and Node.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS frontend frameworks like React, Vue or Angular
• Implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL advanced experience (testing, index optimization, and query optimization...)
• Create pull requests (While you’re at it, review your teammates’ pull requests too, mentoring the more junior members of our development team.)
• Participate in design sessions with your team members, coming up with the optimum technical solution: one that not only meets business requirements, but does so with performance, scalability and maintainability in mind.
• Innovate. There’s always something we can improve upon, whether it be process or tools or technology choices. If you can dream it, you’ll likely get to build it.

It would be awesome if:

• You have some experience working remotely (but if you’re a clear communicator with rock-solid reliability and you’re curious about making the leap to remote, we’ll guide you through it)
• You understand the AWS / GCP / Docker / K8s services and ecosystem.
• You understand CI tools and implement CD (Delivery/Deployment)
