Key Requirements (what we believe you need to be successful): 

• Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce App Builder, and Salesforce Administrator, or equivalent certification. 
• 3+ years of development experience in Salesforce Platform. 
• Deep understanding of Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Salesforce APIs, web services, and the Lightning Platform. 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Experience developing business process-related applications or integrations. 
• Fluent in English.

What Does a Salesforce Developer do? 

A Salesforce Developer on our team works on two to six clients simultaneously addressing different products and solutions. Our Salesforce Developer will also provide highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform. This person will drive the automation of processes, develop new applications, and help manage the integrations to our various business systems. While Salesforce will be the main focus, the right Developer should be willing and able to learn and support other technologies as needed.  

Our Salesforce Developers participate in the full development process from working with clients to identifying requirements, designing, implementing, testing, and deploying solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design & develop solutions primarily on the Force.com platform using Apex programming language and LWC. 
• Design, Configure and Develop solutions that integrate and automate data interfaces between Salesforce and other systems. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems. 
• Coordinate production releases following Agile delivery methodology. 
• Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications. 
• Creating timelines and development goals. 
• Writing documentation and providing technical training for Salesforce staff. 
• Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software. 
• Client Facing: Work with clients to clarify requirements, assist with testing, understand client business operations, strategy, and vision. 
• Team Facing: Work with the ECHO project team to share requirements, feedback, and advice via meetings, JIRA, and chat.
