Motiff, a digital product design and development agency, is looking for an experienced mid-senior level React Native developer to join our software team. We are looking for developers who are passionate about what they do and are constantly striving to learn new things and improve. IDEAL CANDIDATE

Seeking candidates with a positive attitude and great work ethic. Candidates should have a strong UI and React background.

• 2+ years hands-on experience with React Native.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Works well within a team environment.
• Has a firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances.
• Able to write well-documented, clean Javascript code.
• Experienced with native build tools.
• Experience with automated testing suites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as part of a small team to build React Native iOS/Android applications.
• Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
• Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs.
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions for great UX.
• Integrate third-party API's.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores.
• Work with native modules when required.
• Work in sprints, deliver on time and participate in daily standups.
• Assist with building estimates.
• Work with modern tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, Google Docs, etc.
• Ability to take ownership over your work and perform to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon, both in regards to estimates and general process.
• Follow React Native best practices and work through issues.
• Creating and maintaining CI/CD of React Native applications.

TOP SKILLS

CANDIDATE PREFERENCES

• 4+ years total IT experience (2+ with React Native)
• Should have substantial UI experience with React and JavaScript
• HTML, CSS is a must, as is attention to detail
• Contemporary Data Migration experience is a plus
• Experience in an Agile methodology and solid knowledge of design principles
