The primary focus for this position will be server-side logic for clients’ requests, improvements on log streaming infrastructure, speed up statistics aggregations and delivery, upgrade and improve current API for frontend application and clients API requests. Besides working in the PHP language, there is an opportunity to learn and work in the mainstream technologies such as Docker, RabbitMQ, Redis, Amazon Web Services, MongoDB, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain current code base written in PHP using Laravel Framework
• Work with team members to find creative, innovative solutions to problems
• Implementing business ideas using best technical solutions
• Collaborate with team-lead and and team members
• Produce results effectively

Requirements

• This individual must be able to work from our Banja Luka, Bosnia office
• 3+ years of experience working as developer in PHP
• Knowledge of Laravel or Symfony PHP framework
• Experience in MySQL database
• Solid knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Solid knowledge of Git
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Good communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in working with other programming languages
• Basic knowledge of MongoDB
• Experience with caching key-value databases (Redis is preferable, Memcache is ok)
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript frontend frameworks (Angular or React)
• Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, ElastiCache)
