We are looking for an experienced Java Developer that will be working as part of our software development team in charge of creating Java apps. Together with the clients and your team, you will have a chance to design and build high-tech, custom solutions. Anything between complex sets of back-end services and their client-end (desktop and mobile) equivalents is included. Your primary duty will be designing and constructing apps and collaborating with the rest of the team members working on different infrastructure layers. Depending on your skills and interests, you can focus on building features, proposing system redesigns and designing architectural designs across a service landscape.

Your skills and experience

• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Deep OOP expertise
• Strong experience in server-side development, building high availability, low latency and scalable frameworks
• Proven hands-on experience with Java SE 8+
• Experience with developing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, JDBC
• Experience with Spring AOP, Spring Security is a plus
• Experience with Messaging Queues is a plus
• Experience with parallel and concurrent programming
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres
• Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
• Ability to design, develop, test, document and implement quality software within targeted timeframes
• Experience with REST design principles
• Focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with development teams and customers
• Ability to work self-sufficiently on assigned tasks, often adapting to ever-changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills in English
