Posao: IPTV/OTT engineer - WeTek - Sarajevo

We are looking for a talented, well-experienced and highly motivated IPTV/OTT Engineer to join our growing development team in Sarajevo.

Mission:

Perform High Level and Detailed Engineering required to validate and deploy new IPTV/OTT Services
Provide support to internal and external groups
Respond and Resolve escalated events on supported services
Prepare and provide training material for all new systems and deployments
Manage changes and upgrades to existing systems
Provide assistance to Video Operations on an as-needed basis
Perform periodic quality control functions
Develop and establish procedures for improving platform reliability
Develop and establish Standards and Best Practices
Perform Periodic Performance analysis
Communicate in a clear and concise manner when providing instructions to other technical personnel
Occasionally assist with special projects

Profile:

Degree in IT or Telecommunications is plus
Understanding of Networks and network protocols, multicast, unicast traffic
Understanding of streaming protocols (HLS, DASH)
Basic understanding of DRM (Widevine, PlayReady, AES)
Communicate professionally in a fast-paced setting while fostering a positive working environment
Team player and self-starter
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform critical and analytical thinking
English both written and spoken is required
