About the Frontend Developer Position

RUBICON is looking for a  Frontend Developer to join our team. You would be a key member of our team dedicated to working on developing web applications. You will work towards translating company and customer needs into a functional and appealing digital environment as well as ensuring a great user experience.

We expect you to be a hard-working, tech-savvy professional who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design. Responsibilities:

• Develop new application features
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end SPA
• Write tests for developed features and code
• Work with the team to refine user stories into tasks

Requirements:

• Experience working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Thorough understanding of one of the aforementioned frameworks and its core principles
• Knowledge of programming principles
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles

Nice to know/have experience with:

• npm/yarn
• TypeScript
• Git version control
• NgRx and RxJS
• Writing unit and e2e tests
• Next.js
• Gatsby
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
• Familiarity with the JavaScript ecosystem
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• Architectural software patterns
