Our office in Sarajevo, the development center of BPU Holdings, has a team of experts that are working on developing software for AEI (artificial emotional intelligence). - Work effectively in a team environment to monitor, log, resolve and escalate issues withdevelopment, test and production servers,

- As needed, provide after-hours support of company’s server environments including, but not limited to, issue resolution, customer/core installations, and server monitoring,

- Follow the established operations procedures to ensure timely resolution or escalation of issues,

- Act as liaison for internal and external communications directly with departments as required. Provide regular status reports and gather requirements from departments and provide input into the infrastructure products that are bought or built,

- Document and maintain operational procedures, develop and oversee project plans and implement change control procedures. Participate in technical advisory roles, as required. Mentor operations specialists and foster a learning and growth environment.

 - Analyze problems, determine a cause and initiates corrective action,

- Develops clear and concise documentation, instruction manuals, 

- Coordinates and installs new servers and services,

- Stays current with technology through seminars, educational opportunities, trade magazines, etc,

- Has a working knowledge of all software that the company uses,

- Shares on-call duties with other individuals within the Company,

- Coordinates and participates in both internal and external user group functions,

- Schedule daily, weekly, and monthly operating procedures for an information system,

- Develops and maintenance disaster recovery program,

- Develops and maintains networks,

- Demonstrates knowledge of and supports company mission, vision, value statements, standards, and the code of ethical behavior,

- Provide expert guidance, security requirements and design validation for LDAP based authentication and authorization in a heterogeneous network, operating system application environment, 

- Performs other related duties as required,

- Create and manage the environment for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery,

- Create and manage automatic test and deployments,

- Manage services auto-recovery,

- Create and manage automatic deployments,

- Monitor and measure service availability and resource usage,

- Create and validate service auto-scaling,

- Investigate service logs, service resource usage, and service malfunction,

- Set, improve, monitor and maintain system security rules and practices,

- Performs other related duties as required.

 Qualifications

 - Associates Degree minimum in the Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience required.   

- Excellent English - written and verbal communication skills,

- General knowledge on all PC peripherals. Having a specialist certification would be beneficial. Knowledge of Linux OS is a plus,

- Experience of networking protocols such as DNS, DHCP, SSH, SMTP,

- Experience and knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP,

- Experience with Docker service and container management,

- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes),

- Familiarity with Apache Mesos,

- Experience with iptables service,

- Experience with Jenkins automation server,

- Familiarity with Configuration Management Tools,

- Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages,

- Familiarity with load balancing, switches, firewalls, etc,

- Familiarity with Linux servers in virtualized environments,

- The ability to agree and then meet deadlines,

- Demonstrative analytical and problem-solving ability,
