Berg is looking for a Advanced Application Engineer with passion for Healthcare and IT.

Customer satisfaction will be at your core and you will need to be resourceful and a big-picture thinker to get the job done. Autonomy is key in your daily work as you will need to drive conversations and solutions internally and externally. You will perform Business and Data analysis for our customers and work closely with Dev and DevOps department.

In this position, you will:

• Perform customer upgrades, administration and support
• Perform technical training for end users
• Working with Berg software products
• Have connection with Microsoft Server/Workstations, SQL, and .NET
• Escalate and own driving the resolution of issues through the appropriate channels and team members, using highly effective communication skills
• Travel to customer sites as needed
• Provide on-call support after hours as required

For this position, the following requirements apply:

• degree in computer science or equivalent or degree in healthcare science
• Experience in the IT field
• A genuine interest in IT and ability and willingness to learn more
• Driving licence

In addition, we consider it an asset if you also:

• Have experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Have experience with HL7
• Have experience with SQL databases
• Have experience with scripting commands via PowerShell or similar
• Have a clinical background
