Posao: IT Support Technician - Via Media - Sarajevo

BACKGROUND

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is an international financial institution with 69 members (67 countries, the European Union and the European Investment Bank).

Bosnia and Herzegovina has been selected as the Host Country for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) 28th Annual Meeting and Business Forum in Sarajevo on 08 - 09 May 2019.

The EBRD Annual Meeting participants include senior government officials, leading financial and corporate executives and entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of civil society organisations and the international and regional media.

The agency Via Media has been appointed to assist the Host Country with the preparation and delivery of this important event. For this purpose, Via Media will select and hire 6 IT support technicians for a period of work from Saturday 04 to Thursday 09 May 2019 (6 working days), from approximately 08:00 hours to approximately 18:00 hours daily.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

The purpose of the support technician is to provide support to EBRD’s technology environment at the Annual Meeting 2019. The support technician shall report to the Bank’s IT Helpdesk Manager. Duties include:

Operational support of Windows 7 workstations;
Operational support of Office 2010 Professional;
Troubleshoot workstation and laptop hardware issues;
To provide 1st and 2nd line telephone and desk side support;
Incident logging and reporting;
Undertake tasks as directed by management.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

Full knowledge of Windows 7 workstation operating system;
Excellent working knowledge of Office 2010 Professional;
Good customer facing skills are essential;
Experience of working within an IT support team within a large environment;
Excellent spoken and written English.
